Cranston, Rhode Island. October 18, 2021 – SyQwest Inc., a leading supplier of tactical solutions for US Navy surface ship and submarine sonar systems and components, announced today that the U.S. Navy has awarded it a five year ID/IQ contract with a maximum value at completion of $13.9M.
Under the contract, SyQwest Inc will manufacture TR-341A transducers which are used on the US Navy fleet of submarines.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, R.I., is the contracting agency. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare.
